About the Program
The Spire Summer Running Camp is challenging and designed exclusively for high school 10th-12th graders as well as gap year athletes. This week-long, overnight, all-inclusive program includes two-a-day running workouts on a variety of surfaces and locations to enhance endurance and strength. In addition to running, participants engage in strength training, and cross-training such as hiking and water running to build overall fitness and injury resistance.
Beyond physical training, the camp offers educational sessions led by guest instructors who challenge the mind and soul of athletes. There are sessions on nutrition, collegiate running, physical therapy and more.
Each day includes a dedicated time for reading, studying, and engaging in discussions to support academic and personal growth. To build camaraderie and leadership skills, participants will also take part in team-building activities.
