Cross Country Season

Spire Cross Country practices are held on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday in the Springfield/Annandale area, with training focused on strength, cardio and speed.

Throughout the season, most athletes participate in 8-9 local cross country meets, competing against a variety of schools including public, private, and other homeschool teams. Race distances are typically 5k (3.1 miles) for high schoolers. Middle school race distances vary from 3-5K.

The program is challenging and competitive. The season runs from August to November.

MEDICAL WAIVER: As parents/guardians of the child registered I acknowledge and assume the risks and hazards of such participation, including transport to and from the activity and I recognize the inherent dangerousness of sporting activities. I authorize the coach or other adult volunteer to provide first aid assistance and request emergency medical assistance in the event of an injury to my child. I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless, Spire Team LLC, its directors, officers and agents for any fine, penalty or assessment issued against Spire Team LLC as a result of the conduct of my child or myself. As parent or legal guardian of the above-named athlete, I hereby give consent for emergency medical care prescribed by a duly-licensed Doctor of Medicine. This care may be given under whatever conditions are necessary to preserve the life, limb or well being of my dependent.

Cost: $300 registration + $50 for track suit = $350 Additional siblings - $275+$50 = $325 Online payment - additional $10 processing fee added: $300+ $50 Uniform fee+ $10 online fee = $360 for the first runner, $335 for additional siblings.
