2024 TRACK Season

Spire is a rigorous running program that aims to train runners to be competitive athletes for the track season. Mileage is based on age and ability (new runners encouraged!) with daily workouts provided via the website and expected to be done individually, with team training three days a week.

Because track is a team event, it’s important to consider the time commitment to daily training as dedication and consistency are keys to success and prevention of injury.

SCHEDULE:

The season begins Tuesday, March 12 and runs through May 25.  Practice is held in the Annandale area on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.  Saturday mornings locations vary.

Track meets include the typical track events including sprints, middle distance and distance. Most meets will include all athletes, but confirmation of participation for each meet is required (as there are limited slots). Meets are typically on Saturdays with a few that fall mid-week, in the afternoon.

REGISTRATION

To register, fill out the form attached. Once the registration and payment is received, an email will be sent with log-in information for the weekly workout log, access to the runner’s log, as well as the meeting schedule.
