Track Season
During the track season, practices are held on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday in the Springfield/Annandale area, with training focused on various disciplines, including sprints, distance running, jumps, and throws. Spire practices as a team three days a week and athletes are expected to train independently on “off” days. Training is based on age and ability with daily workouts provided by our coaching team.
Throughout the season, most athletes participate in 7-8 local track meets, competing against a variety of schools including public, private, and other homeschool teams.
The program is challenging and competitive and runs from mid-March through May.
